Fully focused on quality
Our modern production facilities are completely geared towards preserving the products as freshly as possible, according to the highest quality standards. Our strict quality policy extends throughout the entire chain, from producer to distribution.
At our own laboratory, we continuously research the quality of our products. Quality is also consistenly monitored during the production process. To that end we use the latest specialized laser equipment, which continuously monitors the product in order to detect anomalies and remove them from the product flow.
FLM food ingredients guarantees full traceability. This ensures the quality and safety of our food storage and distribution. Our advanced logistics management system can easily trace the origin of our products at any given time. Every batch can be traced back to the grower, enabling us to guarantee an optimal level of service and food safety. All of our factories are BRC-certified.
Four specialised factories
FLM food ingredients has four specialised factories. One for frozen production (Freezitt), one for the production of pasteurised mushrooms in polybags and blanched mushrooms in boxes (Lo-Litt), one for sterilised canned mushrooms and blanched mushrooms in buckets and boxes (Marque) and one for re-packaging of frozen products.
State-of-the-art frozen production
Our frozen production factory was commissioned in 2006. As FLM food ingredients is determined to continue being a frontrunner in the food-industry. We are therefore constantly innovating and equipping our plants with the latest technology to improve quality, efficiency and sustainability. The result: a state-of-the-art production facility with a very high degree of automation, allowing us to efficiently respond to your wishes. Our factory received a BRC A grade in 2021.
Ice cold heart
Vegetables and fruit are vulnerable products. This is why our factory was designed to conduct the product along production lines with the utmost care. The freezer is at the heart of our firm and as a consequence was chosen with special attention to environmental compatibility. Consequently the freezer is particularly efficient, and only needs a small amount of cooling agent.
Investing in technology
Technical advancement has continued since the opening and the factory has had a number of upgrades. We work with a laser sorter too detect irregularities with a high degree of accuracy. This machine inspects the products from two sides and is able to flawlessly detect variations in colour, texture and moisture content. In 2013 and 2019 we invested in a highly efficient packaging line with continuously cleanable conveyor belts. As of 2021, we are able to transport our products into the blancher by pump, so the raw material will reach the blancher at the same high quality you delivered it to our doorstep.
Latest production line
Lo-Litt focuses on the production of pasteurised mushrooms in polybags and blanched mushrooms in boxes. Since the opening of Lo-Litt in 2015 we have continued to optimise techniques and production processes. Constant and improved quality, durability and efficiency are always top of our list. The result: a state-of-the-art production facility with a very high degree of automation, allowing us to efficiently respond to your wishes.
Sustainability & energy conservation
Energy conservation has played a central role in the development of the factory. As a result, we have taken important steps in the field of sustainability during each phase of production and storage.
Continuing to take the lead
FLM food ingredients is determined to continue being a frontrunner in the food-industry. We are therefore constantly innovating and equiping our plants with the latest technology. Because we want to assist our customers in the development of a ‘Clean Label Range’, we have invested and extended our knowledge in Clean Label ingredients to be able to produce various kinds of pasteurised mushrooms for Clean Label.
Tailor-made preserved products
Our preserved foods factory was completely renovated in 2010/2011. The location is highly automated and has a highly efficient structure. This enables us to respond quickly to your individual needs.
Buckets, boxes or cans
Our plant’s unique added value lies in the combination of two preserved mushroom production lines: blanched in buckets and boxes or sterilised canned. For all these product groups we can make customer-specific adjustments with regard to raw materials, slice thickness, packaging and brine. Thanks to the latest technology and our horizontal organisation, we can offer high flexibility in production and delivery.

From bulk to retail packaging
The newest factory, Packitt, was added to our facility in 2017 and is a (re)packaging line. Our 15 years of experience in IQF products is extended to our packaging process. We process your vegetables and fruit to the highest quality standards. The controlled environment ensures a constant product quality throughout the process.
At Packitt we have the possibility to pack our product in retail size packaging but also to re-pack your product from bulk to cartons or retail size packaging. Our foil packaging ranges from 2.500g to 450g. Want to add more value to your product? We also offer several coating options and knowledge on cryogenic tumbling.
